Hapag – Lloyd launches new region south europe
Hapag – Lloyd is splitting its region europe into nothern and souther parts. in doing so. the worlds fifth – largest liner shipping company will remain close to global markets and server customers from a total of six region effective immediately. The new region which will have it headquarters in the italian port city of Genoa, ami to bolster Hapag – Lloyd competitive position in the mediterranean region. It will inculde area of Italy, Iberia, Turkey, Egypt and Med agent, which manges the company’s 15 agents in the region.
At the same time, Region North Europe will focus on customers in Area Germany and central Europe, Benelux, UK AND Ireland, France, north. There, it will safeguard Hapag – Lloyd leading position , emphasised a release.
